• What orgs, individuals, opinions are not represented
  • and how can they be included
• are the three topics (components, process, interoperability) appropriate
  • are there other ways of organizing the field
• what are the fundamental questions, principles, concepts
• what gaps exist in our current knowledge
  • what research is needed
  • what developments are needed

second round questions

• what are the priority topics for long-term basic research
• what are the priority topics for short-term basic research
• what do we need to say to the funding agencies
• what activities woudl continue and strengthen the momentum of this meeting, help to build an effective research community
